Positive: Clean, safe, comfortable, great activities included, not far from Iguazu Falls, friendly staff, well water so potable, good breakfast, heavy snacks (hamburgers, tostados, etc), and the Yaguarete- Ava drink is PERFECT. We enjoyed the guided hike behind the property with the local mate treat. We waited for 1.5 hours at the border coming back from Brazil Iguazu Falls. Super grateful to have had our room service dinner waiting for us
Negative: One of the cabins smelled musty in the bathroom but maybe that’s a jungle thing. Wish the hot tub was working

Positive: Pool area was lovely, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. Location super easy for the airport and Iguazu Falls park
Negative: The cabin was old - whilst clean and tastefully done out, the bathroom probably hasn’t been touched since the 70s. The whole place smelt damp too, so much so all our clothes for the rest of our trip smelt a bit musty!

Positive: Amazing stay at Overo! The staff were absolutely outstanding from the very beginning. Gino welcomed us with a fresh juice, and from that moment we felt genuinely at home. Jessica gave us a tour around the lodge's jungle that culminated in a traditional 'mate' bonfire. The highlight—the real cherry on top—was the restaurant, a true hidden gem! Carlos and Brenda were fantastic, offering impeccable service and thoughtful recommendations. The food was an explosion of flavours. We loved learning that they collaborate with a scientist who advises on the edible fruits and vegetables grown at the lodge. We had the green salad several times, made with leaves and flowers from the lodge, and each bite felt like a unique experience. The quality of the fish and beef was exceptional, and the desserts were just as impressive—we even had the chance to try a new pudding that will be on next month’s menu, and it was incredible. The wine pairings, expertly recommended by Carlos, were spot on—he’s incredibly knowledgeable, especially for such a young sommelier. And Brenda made every breakfast special, with fresh juices as well as delicious mocktails. A truly memorable experience.

Positive: we liked the staff and Mate talk was very interesting and quite unique. I found the AC in our room very noisy and old and did not enjoy a good nights sleep as a result. i was either too hot with the AC off or too noisy with it on.
Negative: The restaurant was quite a surprise and somehow did not fit with the rest of the hotel. The rooms were simple and quite old fashioned - particularly the bathrooms - but the restaurant was modern and very sophisticated. It felt strange being the only 2 guests in the formal restaurant ...
Summary: our stay was very short but very enjoyable especially the mate talk

Positive: Great gardens & very attentive staff. Cabins well equipped, lots of attention to detail just bit old. Modern restaurant facilities & excellent breakfast provided. Enjoyed the nature walk & mate experience 2 pools Only 8 cabins so not crowded
Negative: A frame cabins were much more rustic than photos showed. Clean but with very old showers & toilets. Need upgrading Close to a busy road
